The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Art and Literacy
First, Mr. Giannetto read the students the Eric Carle book The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Next, each Kindergarten student drew a large apple and leaf. Each drawing was painted with watercolors. After they dried, they were cut out and glued to blue paper. Finally, the caterpillar was created and glued into place.
