Kindergarten: Shaving Cream Snowmen

Snowmen in a Winter Wonderland

Shaving Cream Snow

Kindergarten Art

First, we painted with a shaving cream/glue mixture to create a snowman in a wintry scene.

The students loved painting with shaving cream!

Next, we added pine trees by printing with a piece of cardboard.

Finally, details were added to the snowman and we used a Q-tip to create snow.

1st Grade: Cardinals

Cardinals in Winter
1st Grade

First, the students drew a cardinal and painted it red.

Next, they added details with a black marker and cut out the cardinal.

Then, they created an environment for the cardinal by painting a branch and pine needles.

The students enjoyed stamping the pine needles with a piece of cardboard.

Finally, they added snow to create a winter scene. They loved using a Q-tip to create the snowflakes.

I'm very proud of the students' work!
