First, we drew some of the dinosaur parts and painted them using cardboard and straws. This was a great way to create the rough texture of the dinosaur's skin.

Next, we added details such as legs and plates.

We also created a fun place for our dinosaur to live.

The students loved adding the lava and making the volcano erupt!

Wow! Kindergarten students' created super stegosauruses!

Students and parents created bean mosaics featuring Native American symbols.

They loved learning the meaning for each symbol.

tepee = home

crossed arrows = friendship

arrow = protection

broken arrow = peace

horse = trip

Thunderbird = happiness

eagle = freedom

snake = wisdom

 This student is carefully gluing down the beans to create a Thunderbird.

Parents and students enjoyed creating art together.

 We used oil pastels to add more symbols to the background.

The students are very proud of their work!
