2nd Grade Memories

Our Favorite 2nd Grade Memories 

Each 2nd Grade student drew a picture and wrote a sentence about his or her favorite 2nd Grade memory. The display is a part of the 2nd Grade Awards Ceremony.

We traced our hands to create the body of the hermit crab and traced a plate to make the shell.

We created a lot of texture by painting with paper tubes and q-tips.

We added details such as shells and seaweed. 

2nd Grade Origami

Origami Whales in the Sea 

Second grade students finished out their last Art class at Young School with a make-and-take origami project. 

 We followed the folding steps carefully to create a whale and then added some ocean details.
